General Counselling
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, or simply feeling stuck, general counselling offers a safe space to pause, reflect, and work through what’s going on for you.
I provide a supportive, confidential, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we focus on helping you gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and balance.
My approach is centred on creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel comfortable to be yourself. I draw on evidence-based practices alongside my experience in mental and physical health to support you holistically.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is general counselling?
General counselling provides support for a wide range of life challenges, including stress, anxiety, low mood, and personal difficulties. It offers a safe space to talk and explore your thoughts and feelings.
What can I talk about in sessions?
You can talk about anything that feels important to you—there are no limits or expectations. This is your space to explore what’s on your mind.
Do I need to have a specific problem?
No. You don’t need a specific issue or diagnosis. Many people come to counselling simply to gain clarity, support, or personal growth.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies depending on your needs. Some people benefit from a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support.
Is counselling confidential?
Yes, all sessions are confidential, except in rare situations where there is a risk of harm, in line with professional guidelines.
Will I be given advice?
Relapse can be part of the recovery process. Counselling provides a supportive space to understand what happened and help you move forward without judgment.
Can I have sessions online?
Yes, I offer both online and in-person sessions to suit your preferences.
What if I feel nervous about starting?
That’s completely normal. I aim to create a warm and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable from the very first session.
